Default I was hoping Audi would work out the bugs for '02 but...

...I guess that was wishful thinking. This weekend, I test drove a '02 225 coupe. When I turned the key, the first thing I noticed was a very rough idle. The whole passenger compartment was vibrating badly. I looked down at the gauges and the check engine light was on. I figured the engine would get smoother as it warmed up. It didn't. I told the sales guy the check engine light was on but he didn't seem to care. He told me to drive to a nearby gas station to fill the tank because the gauge read empty. After filling the tank, the gas gauge still read empty. What I didn't realize earlier was that none of the gauges worked! Needless to say, I was very disappointed. Brand new TT and it's already exhibiting some of the chronic problems. I'm now very hesitant to take the plunge and join the TT family.

Default The TT is a good car but I have also had some problems.

1. instrument cluster replace with back cluster then a good one.
2. DV replace not sure if it was bad car was within one month old.
3. passenger side top rattle dealer hasn't fixed.
you have to remember no car is perfect, and you will always be able to find defect. The biggest one for the TT is the DV valve and audi isn't going to fix it. Bosch has to replace them on failure not audi. the old saying if its not out of my paycheck who cares.

Default I have had a few minor problems with my 2001C

I had a creaking suspension that was fixed. I now have an off and on rattle coming from the passenger side of the dashboard that is driving me nuts. I will ask the dealer to look at it when I take it in for the 5k service. Other than that I love the car.

And furthermore, my one year with the car has been trouble free and soooo much fun. I absolutely love this little car. I've had it on many road trips, various altitudes, various temperatures, on the track, at the Salt Flats... ITS GREAT!!!

Agreed. I've owned 2 TT's over a 1-1/2 year span, and no problems here either.
