I think I'll **** off the wife...I'm thinking about getting something smaller, but I have a few
questions...am I correct when I say all 2001 TT's with a 6 speed are 225's???? what things should I look at when looking at a tt???
I have 2 kids, 7 and 4 and the wife thinks i'm nuts because it will be too difficult...they get themselves buckled in and I don't think it will be a problem...my thinking is they're small and it won't be too cramped for them, heck, when I was little my family (dad, mom and 2 sisters) traveled in our VW bug... does anyone have small kids and a tt?? problems???

Kinda depends on the kids..
... if it's once in while it's not bad. If it's every day I would say no way.
16 year old says "are you kidding me", then asks for keys
12 year old sighs and reluctantly climbs in back
5 year old son says "let's go!"
18 month old hasn't had a ride yet
As for what to look for - click the FAQ in my sig - Good luck!

I've had 3 cheerleaders in mine...
Granted the two in back were basically on top of each other...It's still one of my most fond memories so far with the car. = )
P.S. I'd go with a 2002 if I could have afforded it a year ago. 225 is smart way to go as well. I believe there is also a buyers guide in the FAQ. Use it if you aren't familiar with the TT's.

The wife has a sequoia...seats 7 adults...if we go anywhere far, we use her truck...the
only time I transport the kids, is to and from sport practice...max 30 minute ride...

Haha...
Sadly, none of the girls in the car. And the others...well, those are private. I can tell you though that I give full credit to the car for that weekend.
I was at Chilis with two of my buddies(one of which has a lake-house) and apparently the cheerleaders from UT were all meeting there after a game. Some of em were grouped up outside right in front of the doors. I pull up in the very front spot, right in front of where they happen to be, and my friends pull up in his Mustang GT a couple spots over.
Anyways, we end up sitting with all of them and invite them out to the lake-house...The End. = )
