The sad part is that the car was a lease car up until 14k miles ago. I hope to god this isn't something the dealer did.

Default Prolly why the weld fractured the other day...>

Should be fairly easy to pick up a replecement either stock from someone who threw a DP in, or a MK4 VW DP/CAT set-up....

Default Yep, likely torqued it off when I started ..>

and an OEM one costs $570! Yowch.

Now I just have to hope that they just didn't scrub down the valve cover when they screwed it in and I don't have some worse gremlin lurking around.

There's aftermarket DP's available that will flow better.
