Default I would like to listen to Pandora on my iPhone through my

stock head unit. Is there a way to add an aux input to the back? Is there a harness, or something that would allow me to turn the CD changer input into an aux? I like how the Dice, or peripheral, set-ups have the one cord that plugs into the bottom to charge the phone, but I think that I can only play the ipod application from the phone.

Any experience or ideas is greatly appreciated. I searched but couldn't find any threads that addressed this specifically.

Thanks, Chris.

Default I had tried my First Gen iPhone in my Icelink and it worked.

Not sure about the 3G (which I have now). I think I've read reports that it works fine - and other reports that it doesn't. Someone else will have to comment on that.

I'm not sure if Pandora plays audio through the Dock Connection though.

Default I have the ur-iphone, not the 3G. I know that they work through

the dock, bottom, of the phone when using it as an ipod. But I don't believe the Pandora application will work. My wife has a Toyota HIghlander with an aux jack that we plug in through the earphone jack, top, of the phone. I was wondering if there was some way to have this same set-up through the back of the stock head unit.

Default Yah, check out enfigcarstereo.com - they should have something to plug into the CD changer output...

on the back of the headunit. I've bought stuff from Christian @ Enfig - good company to deal with.

Default Find an old BlitzSafe adapter, modify it, it it works perfectly. did this on the A4, same..

'ConcertI' H/U

<img src="http://mk1tt.montebellopark.com/images/blitzipod2.jpg">

Added in the correct iPhone connector cable, it charges the iPhone as well as provides the input to the H/U

Modified this original iPhone USB base to work with the new 3G iphone, it's pretty easy to do.

<img src="http://mk1tt.montebellopark.com/images/iphonebase.png">
Added in a 12VDC USB charging adapter as the 3G iphone will not use the FireWire charging circuit. Wired the USB charger to the switched ignition. Result is a solid base for the iPhone, it charges and passes the line--outs of the phone to the input of the H/U/
Bonus: when the phone rings, you can hear the ring thru the car speakers.

Default What if you just plugged in an RCA to 3.5mm cable into the iPhone >>

from the BlitzSafe adapter? Besides not charging the iPhone, what's the difference?
