I was going to sell my wife's 740i and get her a new 745 until we drove it. I even spent hours on the idrive simulator. What a bunch of garbage.

Thank God I don't own it! It's an eval car in the office for two weeks...

A guy I know has one - was funny to watch him try and demonstrate the I-Drive
couldn't get it to do anything he wanted it to! I just sat there and smiled :-)
The exterior is even worse in person IMO and the interior materials just look second rate for a car of that caliber. Truely disappointed.
