Default Installing COs this weekend. Any special tools needed?

I have all the normal air tools and hand tools. Has Audi put any unnormal bolts on the suspension components? Also, if anyone has a link to a write-up, that would be great. 1/2 Kmac is going on also.

TIA

Default Here's a link to my Bilstein-Eibach install. Not sure how much it varies with CO's.

Default Thanks, looks like a fairly easy install. question about the Kmac.

How do you adjust them to the max, as you say. Also, the light leveler, since the control arm will be in a different location (more compressed) will this affect the aiming of the headlights.

Default Most here only needed to use half the KMAC kit, replacing only one end of

the stock control arm bushing to get the correct geometry. If you really drop it, both ends may need replaced. You'll need an alignment after dropping. I had the dealer do it and they adjusted the light leverlers(sp) for me then. Make sure you disconnect them before disconnecting the shocks. Good luck.

Default The KMAC are an eccentric bushing. Just rotate them until you will get maximum offset toward the...

center of the car. I didn't have my levelers aligned and they appear to be just fine. I did have a 4 wheel alignment done which is why I know the max. offset on the KMAC was exactly -1.3 deg. on each side.
