Joel ain't the only one who can get a new gas tank from Audi! ;-)
Well, Audi still has my car, and whatever went wrong with the gasket to the fuel sender unit required the replacement of my gas tank!
So far Audi of Fairfield has been a dream! (knock wood) They took my car for service on Thursday (when it was schedule to go in on Monday), and my service rep even went out of her way to secure me a loaner this evening. Now I've got an A4 3.0 for the weekend...and it's supposed to reach 60 tomorrow! :-/ Hey, at least it has a sunroof.

Yeah, but is it a cross-drilled gas tank? ;)
Hopefully your tank is covered under warranty. Joel, OTOH, had to shell out 800 clams for his tank, if I remember correctly... and that was only for parts, labor was comp'ed! :/
