Just got my OEM sized Power Slot rotors and Hawk HPS Street pads in the mail.
After doing the recommended bedding-in process (below), how long should I use them on the street before subjecting them to a track day? Can I install them within a few days before or should I have used them on the street for a week or two? I'd like to get as much use out of my stock stuff before changing over to the better stuff for the track.
Thanks

Bedding In Procedure from Hawk
1. After installing new brake pads, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 30-35 mph applying moderate pressure.
2. Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40 to 45 mph.
3. DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!
4. Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.
5. After step 4 your new pads are ready for use.

make SURE all lugs are to 90ft/lbs!!! avoid warping on the track!
i'd still do another couple hard stops a day before a track day and again let them sit for a few hours to cool
