Default Just installed boost gauge and disappointed at readings

Finally installed boost gauge. All I have is a GIAC chip and BMC intake. The gauge verifies what my *** has been telling me. I'm disappointed at how quickly pressure drops. It seems the needle just touches 20psi, quickly falls off and settles somewhere aorund 10psi. Is this normal? Is it because the turbo can't move enough volume to maintain a constat pressure of 20PSI? Or is someting not right with my car?

I get 22-25 psi peak depending on the gear, fading to 17 psi or under at high rpm....

Default Maybe I should take a video of the tach and boost gauge

so you can watch and tell me if the rate of drop I'm getting is is similar to yours.

Default Are you a 180 or 225? K03 vs K04 turbo makes big difference, but >>>

none of our Turbo maps would hold peak throught out the rpm range...

180 here w/18 to 22 psi in the higher gears.I think it's normal for it to fall off quickly.

Falling off quickly to 10 psi d/n sound right, though your peak is fine for your mods.

Get a new DV. Forge 007P has been good for me. Will help hold that pressure longer.
