Just popped Cannonball Run in the DVD player... Man, that Countach makes

Just popped it in here.....listening.............
Kinda funny, but Tif had never seen that movie before. We watched it a few weeks after the Salts Flats. Her first words: "that doesn't sound like a Lamborghini." Guess we spent way too much time in that car ;-)
It sounds a lot like an early 70's Daytona more than anything.
The Countach and all V-12 Lambos are a LOT more guttural than F-word V-12's.
If you want to put it to a test, rent or buy Gumball Rally. The car sounds in that movie are all real. There's a Real Daytona in that movie.
Ok....addendum to this. There is one section in the opening credits where they use the Countach sounds. Ok, in the opening credits, watch for Mel Tillis' name to come up. Exactly 14 seconds after his name disappears, you'll see the Countach pull out from off the right side of the screen. That's the real deal.

Watch for the 2nd to last character. He's a customer/friend of mine.<ul><li><a href="http://www.lamborghiniregistry.com/Miura/MiuraSV/4986.html">One of his cars</a></li></ul>
