Default Looking for clean Ipod install for my Kenwood HU...

where can I run/hide the wiring to an external Ipod? Also, is the Kenwood KCA-IP500 the correct adapter for the KDC-X889 unit? TIA. Joe. ;-)

Default I drilled a small hole in the cubby under the center dash console

my Ipod lives in there as does the kenwood connector to feed it through my system

Default I have that same headunit and Ipod and used the storage in the center console

Ipod adaptor is located behind the lower dash.<ul><li><a href="http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publish/Features/article_1972.shtml">Stereo Install</a></li></ul>

Default If you have an armrest...here's my install...

It slides in and out like a drawer...the cord restricts the distance.

Default Did you run the wiring..

under the center tunnel toward the armrest. I want a clean install and to hide as much wiring as possible. I'm getting more particular the older I get! ;-)

Default Yep. It runs backwards down the armrest support arm into the tunnel.

You don't see anything unless you get down under the armrest.
