MA and speeding
Six months since I've been driving my TT and I got my 1st speeding ticket in 30 years! The speed limit had just changed from 40 to 30. The officer said 55 was what radar said I was going but he gave me a break and wrote it up as 40 in a 30 mile an hour zone. He was coming from the other direction and turned around to pull me over with lights and sirens like I was doing 100 mph! He did tell me I had a nice car but I was driving too fast...Anyone have any advice about going to court? Thanks!

If fight is 110% valid, fight it, if not, can't you pay the fine, & go
to traffic school and avoid the insurance and points.
FWIW, I am aware of cases where the officer doesn't show in court, thus case dismissed....

You must fight!
I had a no uturn on mass ave near Porter Sq., and it wound up raising my insurance some 20%. Cost over 6 years will be $2500 (on top of the $50 ticket). All cause I was too lazy to fight the damn thing.
As far as strategies, I'd go w/ Jeff's.

Grow a pair of breasts and learn how to cry.
My wife has been pulled over 4 times in NH and has gotten 4 warnings. Also, buy a radar detector. I catch cops coming toward me from about 1/2 mile away sometimes.
