MAS sensor issues
I just bought my TT. 2001 225hp quattro roadster. I love it, but the MAS was bad. I replaced it and the CEL is still on. It is starting to effect my turbo. Any ideas as to how to correct this problem?

Thanks, I did mean the MAF. I did reset the code, but the light came back on within a day. Is it possible that the connection is bad? Air filter is clean. I also read in another post that someone cleaned the sensor. how can I do that? maybe it is just dirty.

it could be that the replacement MAF is bad too. I've had that happen 3 times. The first 2 replacements were bad. The other issue is that your O2 sensor may be bad. That will throw the CEL too. What was the VAG code error indication?

If this does the trick, I am not sure if I will be mad that I bought a brand new sensor, or glad that I have an extra LOL
