Default Need help with window problem...

The windows don't operate with the interior switches. They drop an inch when the door is opened and go up and down using the key in the door lock.

This doesn't seem to be covered in the FAQ and search indicated similar problem went away on its own.

Any ideas on a reset proceedure? Just wait a few days to see if it clears up? Or is it a bad switch?

Thanks.

Default you can try rebooting the car.....>>>

disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes and reconnect. Make sure you have your radio SAFE code....

Default Remember, you'll have to do the reset procedure when you reconnect your battery:

From the owner's manual:

Power Window Convenience Feature Reset

1. Close the window completely by lifting the power window switch and holding.

2. Release the switch and then lift it again for a second.

The convenience feature is now activated.
