Default need a picture that i saw posted about 2 weeks ago

There was a picture of a tt owner driving through the woods from the drivers perspective. I had this on my desktop but my computer crashed and I lost the photo. Does anyone have that photo or remember the post?

Thanks

Default Hey, that's my computer background (home and office)... More for PGTT

I am always asked questions about this picture - is this a single lane road that you are driving 90 mph down. Did you take the picture yourself. What about photoediting (I seem to remember that the only editing you did was to remove a licensing sticker from the windshield). Everyone who sees it is impressed with the feeling of speed.

Default Here's the scoop and the original untouched photo.

Yes, it is a single one-lane, one-way road (for 7-8 miles) called "Sunrise Mountain Highway" through Stokes State Forest in Northwest New Jersey. Photo was taken in mid-July 2000 while I was on a Sunday joy ride in my then brand new 2001 TT225QC. I did take the picture myself and the actual speed was just over 50 MPH as you can see from the original pic below.

As far as photo modifications: I upped the speed to 90 MPM (and the tach accordingly), removed the NJ state inspection window sticker, and then added "motion" the scenery outside the windshield. And the reason I did this was that I really wanted the photo to give the sense as to what it "felt like" at the time I took the photo - it was exhilarating then and I wanted to recapture that feeling. Some folks may call this "cheating", but who cares... I just wanted a cool pic for myself really.
