???? hey i have the 007p too in my 180 with revo 4bfp program and my dv

gives a huge whistle when i get in the high rev area... is this normal . i sorta thought my dv just needed cleanin and a good greasin.. but i dont get a cut out .. is this normal ?

whoa, green spring and a shim in that dv.

i found that even 2 shims had a bad effect on the system. so yellow it just too much.

I got a replacement (used) MAF, put it in and had that symptom - a cutout at 5500; it might have been that it was a VW (VW maf's give some TT's trouble, and I presumed at the time that's what it was), but when I swapped it out and reinstalled mine - which I knew was good - symptoms went away. MIGHT have just as well been a "bad" MAF, so I'd look there for the trouble first, since as everyone says, chipping stresses them.

What is the difference? and why the "green" one? - pt#?

the GIAC software is what I'm planning on doing after I get suspension...w/in the month or so...
For a little fix like this, I'd like to do it now.
anyone have the pt#?

I do not believe anyone conclusively knows exactly why this fixes problems....other than the other revisions are bad. It's 6$ and 10mins to do....worth every penny. IMO
