newbie key fob ?

newbie key fob ?
A buddy spilled water on the table and I think fried the battery in my key fob. It wont operate, Is it just me or is the fob hard to open? Do I have to go to the stealership and have them fix it?

You can pry it open at the little notch in the middle of the back......
you may be able to dry it out, and replace the battery. If you have a manual it will show you how to take the battery out. I would do that first.
