Default NO, NO, they stole my MK I front control arms....

Took TTOOTT in to have the rear control arm recall accomplished on Wednesday. Picked up the TT this a.m. and drove it the 360 miles home in mostly driving rain. Didn't think it felt just right, but thought perhaps tire pressure, rain, rough road etc. Just looked under and found that they not only replaced the rear control arms but GONE ARE MY MK I front arms.... I can't believe they did this... I faxed a letter to the president of the dealership and told him that the only thing that will satisfy me is to have the original front suspension parts reinstalled... I bet I get some run around about their not being able to do that.... I am so livid at the moment that I can hardly see straight.... Not only were they handed the Audi recall notice which specifically say "rear", but I always give them typed instructions which also said REAR. Will keep you posted as to what happens... geezo.... gonna make a lot of noise about this if I don't get my old stuff back. Either way you can be certain I will mention the dealer's name in my next report.

Default Go get 'em, Dick. That's so wrong on so many counts. Tell 'em to buy your car back if they can't

deliver the goods. If not that, do whatever it takes to get another set of Mk I arms and have them install them and reimburse you. Geez...that is just so wrong. Sorry, Dick. Keep us posted.

Default Good for you, get that suspension back!

I think you have a solid argument, beyond the fact I can not understand how some of these "idiots" can not read. I am lucky and my dealership is very good about this kinda stuff, but I could see it happening without question. Good luck!

Glen, I just did a visual inspection, my front arms are nice and black w/o 3 years of road grime.
