Ok! House is purchased. Now if I could only land my dream job before my ebay auction ends! ;-)
The closing went well. They have a few minor things to do that weren't show-stoppers. They still have to do all the interior cleaning, which I'm going to ride them on tomorrow. ;-) I have a good carpet cleaner that will probably take care of it all, but I want them to do it for me. :-)
Job search is going well. Talking to a lot of people I've been offered a contract in South Carolina (3+ hour drive). The rate is a little low for my taste...it includes all travel expenses which are 'tax free.' I may take it, but I want to hold out for some of my other options to pan out. Buying a new house, then having to travel to SC every week will make it hard to get things done around the house!! Being a .NET project manager would look good on the resume though. We'll see what happens this week.
