ok; I just caught a fraction of a segment & though it was NY >
that explains why I couldn't find any shots, and dammit, take a camera next time! It had some decent looking wheels on it, and I'm curious to see them again.

Yep, good show this time. I did see it from afar, had it in mind to check it out
when I went, but forgot to go back around; that's pretty damn impressive credentials to have in the family! Highlights of the show for me were the new GTI, time spent with the 987. Lowlight - once again, all Audis were locked!! WTF are they thinking?? It was industry preview day, besides, not the masses. Almost everything else short of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati was wide open for everyone. Even the preceding were open on request if you had obvious playa credentials, eg NBA/NFL player or celeb of some kind. Audi of America are either very arrogant or stupid when it comes to this strange policy of theirs; come to thik of it, at NY in April, the Audis were opn, but not in Detroit.
