OT: Back from Nopi Show Series at GIR. 10 things I learned... (BWW)
1)People on these things at these events are annoying! They should be banned! Between the kids and grown men darn near running over people on these things, I didn't know what to do! Scream or kick one of these little b@stards off as they drove by or directly in front of me.

2)As long as yor car has a "kit" on it, you can compete for prizes! Paint, decent wheels, and taste are all optional.

4)Everybody thinks they're 50 cent or some other famous rapper. Haven't we heard this story before, like 15 years ago. I got to listen to some ol'school cool jazz after this. Can I at least get a new story from these guys!?! (Nothing against true talented lyricist, but this was a joke. Country gangsta rap?)

5)Mohawks are apparently making a come-back! I didn't know, but several people were sporting them! (like father, like son I guess) Maybe, I should start my own push to bring the hi-top fade back while we're at it!

6)Motorized bar stools are apparently Not to be driven under the influence of alcohol. So when are you suppose to ride one of these things? Sober? That's no fun...

7)There is a such question as "WHY?" that has absolutely <b>NO</b> answer that will satisfy the question posed. <b>NONE! NATTA! NOPE!</b>

8)It boggles my mind how a child can come home and not explain what happened to the car while said kid was away. Are parents really that clueless?

Overall, it was a decent event at best. No German car showing, outside of a modded Mini with dubs! Saw a lot of 14 year olds that looked 20 and a lot of 28 year olds trying to look 14 (but looking 40). The swimsuit competition was cute at best. A punk band actually was the bright spot of the musical line-up. OT: hey brother >>
How's the car running? How many miles? I've got 105k. Just want to know how another stage III-er is holding up. I have to get my muffler (dahlback) welded for a second time. It keeps flexing near the hanger and splitting the muffler.
Other than that it's just little things every once in a while: ignition switch, serp belt and tensioner, some split hoses, #1 coilpack seem to get fried a bunch, plugs (trying the cheap copper ngk's instead of the expensive platinums APR recommends - they're working great). I'm pretty sure my cluster is on the fritz cause I've lost the door chime - but, it still indicates the door as open when it is.
I'm not including the "big" things that have broken due to "driver error". Like when I blew my cv joint
