Default damn, wish i'd known you needed that -- i threw out a "new" driver's side one a little while ago

basically, had to accept one that arrived that wasn't up to spec. it was pretty amusing -- i made the argument that it was in worse condition than the one i was replacing, so they brought in an audi "brand specialist" to examine the part. after some deliberation, he concluded that it was within "audi tolerances" so i had to take it. so i took it home and eventually threw it in the garbage can.

btw: that particular part is kind of bulky so freight can be expensive. best to order it locally.

ps. still love that sig :-)

Default hah thanks...

next time you throw one out (or other things in that case, im always up for a trip to boston and some dinner) let me know! i have a long list of to do's this winter for the TT unfortunatley, hopefully i can find a nice mk2 (the better mk2, not the TT but the mk2 GTI) for a winter beater because driving 100+ miles per day isn't doing good things for the TT. thanks though!
