Default I'm more concerned with how thier cars run after...

I find it hard to believe all those parts they took out have no critical function. And personally I do not want any cel's. Putting a diode on everything to get rid of a cel seems foolish.

Default Every time I see that write up, I ask myself "where are his gloves?" Then I remember

Only someone who knows what they are doing would plan ahead that far!

Default Not supporting the idea one bit but you have to remember

Car manufacturers have to think about a lot more than just performance. They have to have priorities in economy, environment, longevity, and lots of other areas of concern that may not mean as much to the above-average enthusiast. Not all of their decisions were made for the same reason that we enjoy our cars.

I looked into that mod but never did anything about it. It is definitely not in the conservative scope of thinking that this forum tends to favor. Right or wrong there are many people out there living closer to the edge, some have fallen off to their doom but others have reached higher levels of performance.
