Default Please Help: New Tire Problems

Long story short:
Just got new wheels. Had them put on by Discount Tire. Everything checked out. Was driving around all day and felt the wheels act up. While parked saw that the tires were VERY low. Used a pump to fill them up and then heard a hissing sound coming from the tire nipple. As I moved the thing the hissing got worse. This was the case for all 4 wheels. The nipple is metal for some reason on my Toyo Proxes T1R and is letting the air out.
I don't know if the tire is damaged from ridng on almost no pressure. I don't know if there is any rim damage.
Should I hold the place that sold me the wheel/tire package responsible for this?
Advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Default That's outragous, perpostorous, agrevous..

sorry had to throw Sienfeld in there...

I had a Saab get returned via the lemon law and the only thing that saved me was having all the reciepts, written dates on phone conversations, etc.

First, see if you can settle it between the two of you, but keep notes on how many times you tried calling before a meeting, etc...court is always in favor of this type of action out of the gate.

If that doesn't work, I'd call a lawyer and, again, make sure that you keep all receipts and milage.

Default I'd just call them...

Tell them what happened and ask them to take care of it.

Chances are that they will.

Default Unless you insisted that the valve stems not be replaced, Discount is responsible

They routinely insert new valve stems on new wheels. I deal with them exclusively and they are very reputable.

Default I mail ordered the tire/wheel package. It was already mounted and balanced.

Discount tire only put them on for me after I recieved the complete and assembled set.

Default Hmmm...seems unlikely they are responsible then. Contact the folks you bought them from.

But in the meantime see if you can have Discount inspect them & put new stems in.

Would new stems fix the issue?
