POLL: How many here owned other VW's before their TT?
A lot of us here seem to be true dubheads, myself included. Was wondering who here owned other VW's before their TT.

1989 Cabriolet, my first car. Did a motor swap...went from a 1.8
96 hp motor to a 2.0 Big Valve Head with cams etc....drove that car for 240K miles and still sold it for $8K
-1988 Cabriolet...drove as a beater for a while until I found my next project..
-1995 Jetta GLX VR6, of course it went through the usual mods, chip, intake, wheels, suspension etc....
-1990 Cabriolet, boought for my wife to replace her old car, was in real nice shape until she got ahold of it. It is now known affectionately as the *****ter* and is my daily driver
-1995 Cabrio, bought for my wife to replace the *****ter* but we still played around with it, chip, wheels etc...
1998 Cabrio...Had 3K miles on it, ripped out the 115hp 2.0 and replaced it with a VR6, talk about freaking the dealer out on the first oil change =-) This car became my biggest project yet, ended up supercharging the VR6, numerous sets of wheels, Abt coilovers, Remus exhaust, custom interior etc...I loved this car and had no intentions of selling it although, as they say money talks...I got a ridiculously high offer that I could not refuse....

yes, I really love the Dubs, specifically the Cabrio(let)s
