Default Pre-Muffler???
On our stock/ aftermarket exhaust systems what is the round cylinder in the straight portion of the exhaust after the cats? Is it some type of pre-muffler? Anyone ever cut it out? Thanks for the help.

Is that to make it quieter?

yes, well, actually modifies the tone not necessarily the volume
