Default Suggestions Needed

I need some suggestions for brakes. I have about $1500 limit to get front and back. Thanks.

you won't get far on that budget, I'm afraid. Try Zimmermann rotors

Default id save up a bit more and them maybe look at stoptechs

i believe the stasis and brembos are even further out of your budget

Default I agree with everyone below, other than the Wilwood

i had Wilwoods (ones pictured actually) on my 2700lbs GTI VR6. they seemed pretty damn cool. i tried many, many pads
Hawk HPS &amp; HPplus
EBC green
Mintex Ctech
Wilwood pads
but none really made the car super cool.

my TT with stock brakes, 3300lbs, and Ferodo 2500s completely destroyed the GTI in the braking department. i'd either just get pads, which will totally improve the car and works on most track days or save more. on your budget, i'd probably look at ECS-tuning rotor only upgrades. the Porche caliper was designed for rear biased. but there much larger rotors all around and some Ferodos would make a noticable difference. unless you save some more
