Q for roadster owners, my car has some serious metal creaks
sounds like the frame or something. Its not a rattle but more like metal is groaning under stress. Any thoughts?

It might be the seats rubbing up against the rear bulkhead.
I notice a creaking, groaning, metallic-type sound, especially when there's a passenger in the seat. I just adjust the seatback angle and it gets better.

Man, my car is embarrassingly noisy inside when it's cold in the morning.
I've never had a car with more squeaks, rattles and noises as when this thing is cold...Still love it though.

this must be your first VAG product....this is the first car that
I have owned that did not play a tune of varying rattles depending on the exhaust resonance....yes, I have only ever owned VAG products.
