Question for you guys with 180's and boost machine... where do you have them set?

Dick, I have mine set at 6 1/2 turns. With the ****...>>
Boost doesn't spike anymore just a nice 18 to 19 lbs in 3rd thru 5th to 4500. Start around 5 and adjust from there. Since you are in a colder area, it will be a little different due to denser air. But you already knew that...:-)

Been running this for about a year and no problems...>>
Since I don't keep my foot in it that much and the car has over 60K, I shouldn't have any problems.
Now if it does go, then it is K04-001 of something else.

Great to hear. I wouldn't go higher than 18 psi...>>
since the **** removes the initial spike, you shouldn't have any problems. The MAP sensor on the IC throws you into limp mode around 21 psi. (been there, done that). Watch it in colder weather since the denser air will affect boost.

Hmm ... I'm already hitting boost levels like that pre-BM.
With my APR chip, I see spikes to 20psi, and
sustained anywhere from 15-18 or so, depending
on gear and how lead-footed I am. This is why although I've
installed a Boost Machine, I have not "actuated" it
yet. I don't think I wanna push any more boost than
I aleady am. Why is my boost higher than y'all's?
thanks,
