Default quick question regarding water temp sensor

I'm trying this hopefully stopping my off-on temp gauge deal. Will the coolant temp sensor that TTStuff offers fit my 2000 180QC? It did not have the car listed, but had the similar 180 engines.

Dealer sells temp sensor for around $7, so get the right one (green) and you're good to go

Default It may not...>

Early 2000's used the square plug "Blue" sensor. Much more expensive than the oval plug Green one. Pop the plug off and look..

Default And (as Steve says) don't forget the black plastic clip and o-ring

Get new ones, the clip gets out of shape after a couple of years.
