Rear Speakers... bleh
So I never heard anything from those "rear" speakers and figured it was because I couldnt adjust to the rear. Now I have a new headunit, and adjust fade to the rear.... nothing.
Should I just forget them? seems to be a common problem.

It's because they're either ...
powered by the Bose amplifier (if you have Bose) or a small amp on the pass rear speaker (if non-Bose).
You'll need to replace them if they're Bose. If non-Bose, then you'll need to run speaker wire to them and unplug the amplifier and run directly to the + and - terminals from your head unit.

They're Bose. Looks like maybe I shouldn't sell my JL amps...
Time to consider my options. Guess there was a reason I didnt sell those JL amps. Now I need to find speakers. :-/ This car is expensive!

From wat i remember
On my past 2 cars the Bose speakers were individually powered by small amps nxt to each speaker, but since bose runs on a a wierd sound rating you have to get a special connector of some sort when you change headunits. I guessing the audi bose should be about the same. Take your car up to a Quality car audio shop, which is very hard to find, and they should know wat to do.
