Reccommended tire size for ALMS RS4 18" Rims?? >>
Stock tire size is 225/40/18
I just got a flat and totally destroyed my tire so I am looking to get some good all season tires (Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S probably).
Wondering if 235/40/18 would work and if there are any advantages to the wider tire, or if I should just stick to 225/40/18...
Currently I have stock suspension but looking to get H&R Coilovers in the summer, if that matters at all.....
Thanks in advance for the info

235/40's on 18x 8's is a go, for a little more cushioning, with summer tires...
they're .25 to .4 inches taller than 225's. In wet or light snow "narrower" is generally recommended, so the 225's would be the textbook answer. There won't be any clearance problems with the c/o's unless you change rim offsets/widths or go aggressive with spacers.

Well, I think im going to stick with 225s for now >>
I was deciding between the Potenza RE960AS Pole Position and the Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S... The Potenzas arent available in 235 at tirerack and the Pirellis are 20 cheaper each.
I am able to get wholesale pricing through a guy and hes going to give me a price for both the Potenzas and the Pirellis and then ill go from there.
i think 225 will be the final choice for now though... Im in chicago, it does snow once a month, lol so i guess these will be great.. thanks for the info
