Default yes

You'll need a 17-18mm deep well socket to remove the rear seat "striker pin" that anchors the appropriate side's seat back. Not all brands fit.

Now remove the rear seat bottom cushion by pulling up approx. 8" away from either side, in the front. You'll feel one clip on each side that hold it down. Individually yank each side upward with some force and they'll release.

Now remove the bolts that hold the rear seat mounts. As you'll see, you will have to remove the rear seat belt part, too. You will not, however, have to loosen or remove the torx screws--they just hold the seat back mounts in place. Lift the seat back up and slightly to the rear and you'll clear the number 8-shaped be able to remove the seat back.

Default thanks for the offer -- all set though

happened to have a deep socket that fit, thankfully :-)

got the whole thing apart, and verified that the phatbox works. now i just need to figure out how to mount it and put everything back together.

thanks again, guys!
