snow tire verdict....thanks to everyones posts...
i also posted below in another posting, but with all the news post (just yesterday) it'll probably be on page 2.
i am going with the Dunlop SP WinterSport M2s. i like the lower profile and don't drive in knee-deep snow drifts like those TTers in the midwest. most of my streets are plowed right away and usually don't get much snow (hopefully, not like last year in NJ).
with the dunlops, i can go to an 18" wheel...and can switch to all weather tires if i really wanted to. plus, i don't dive into turns in the winter anyways, so sidewalls (or rather large ones) aren't really that necessary. i do want to maintain some grip when on the highways if and when i do hit some black ice.
otherwise, with the blowtenzas, i would have to keep the TT parked when it snows. the dunlops will enable me to take it out more often.

thanks fred. yes, save on remounting and repairs. thinking about some nice wheels.
i'm checking old postings to see any pics for wheels. i'm thinking something hearty, not dainty like some BBS wheels (feel these are better looking in summer).
need a winter wheel.
