So what was the final resolution on the MAF? Does the "cheap" VW one work for us?

150+miles w/out issue yet
was going to hold out til I got over the 300 mile mark but since you asked, my car is running fine.
If it goes bad now though, I will hold you responsible for the jinx ;-p
