Default SPEC clutch installation

Since I had 84,000 miles on my baby and wanted it to be in tip-top shape for TT-West (and quite possibly TT-East!), I decided to pull the trigger on a new stage 2 clutch w/OEM dual-mass flywheel (got to keep that motor butter smooth for my VF Engineering mounts). Clutch seemed OK, but I like to replace some things before they fail. Also took the opportunity with the exhaust off for the tranny work to put in new O2 sensors.

Well, to my surprise, when we pulled the existing clutch, it looked brand new (thickness, color, everything). In fact, Mike at Ingolstadt West (he of the newly installed APR III+ kit) said he was tempted to put it on his monster.

Lesson: If you treat your OEM clutch with respect, you may get lots and lots of use out of it.
