Default starter taking longer to start......

Anyone knows what this could be.. for the last couple of days,, when is start my car it take longer than usual.. sounds like it may not start but it does after about 3 sec.. usually it fires right up right away, even when it's very cold outside. spark plug? Batt? or just the cold? it always starts.. it just not as fast as it used to. Thanks

Default How many miles? Orig battery? Also, hold the key in the >

start position for a second or two and then crank her over. It maybe plugs or battery, but depends on the mileage and if they are orig. or not.

How old is the battery? Usually you will see a decrease in performance after 3 years.

Probably just need a new battery. Look at the Sears International.

Default Gas!

If your gas is low, be sure you turn the key half-way and wait 'til you hear the fuel pump disengage before you give it the crank.

Other than that, beats me

Default Putting the key in start first for a sec then starting it worked........

Why is that? future problem? i may just change to spark plug to see it that solves it.. cheaper than changing the batt.. thanks all
