Default Stoptech or brembo???

I am looking at front Big Brake kits and saw that the brembos cost quite a lot more than the stoptechs. What are the pros/cons of the different kits? Are the brembos really worth the $700 extra?

Default Brembo or Alcon that is it for top of the line

multi piston calipers. Rotors vary based on how hard you beat on them. Development time involved is huge. Quality is a big issue.

Default Brabus uses it on their 700bhp SL6.3TT

Alcon is marketing partners with Baer in the US<ul><li><a href="http://www.stasisengineering.com/braking.shtml">Stasis engineering uses them</a></li></ul>

Default How much for the Brembo... I found $1100 on a site in the UK

Add in some shipping and it's still not bad...

Typically, I see them for $2500, so I'm curious as to why they're so different?
