Default Stupid stereo install...where to pull a REMOTE line from???

Well I wanted to pull it from the cd changer, but it looks like the changer connector cant be spliced into(to tap the acc wire)

So I need a place to run my remote wire to any ideas?(in the rear of the car!)

The wire diagram for the stock bose amp does not match up with mine at all(see link) so tapping from the amp is iffy, not sure which wire to tap? should I try them all till one lights up the amp, then electric tapr them all back together??? I s it possible to locate the ACC specific wire and tap it at the changer?

Any suggetions are welcome, I want to finish tomorrow am for waterfest

thanks i a<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1522013.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1522013.phtml</a</li></ul>

Default you will need to run a *switched* +12V line to the rear. The changer/HU switched is not a true +12V

Any ACC line will work.

Have a little trouble understandig exactly what you mean - I am not a car stereo installer; but if this is what you looking for then

switched positive 'on' is pin 6 on this connector

which is

which is black wire here
<img src="http://130.74.178.25:85/AW/radio/02.jpg">

which is black wire on the very last pin 25 on Bose amp

according to the wiring diagram

Pics are from 2000 180FWD with Bose so your wiring should be pretty much the same.

Default

precisely what I mean; that is not a true "+12V" - the voltage varies
