Default Temperature gauge

Just wondering if somebody out there has had the same problem I'm experiencing. Early in the morning, with the engine still not warm, the temperature gauge remains at the cold setting until, for no apparent reason, it suddenly jumps to the middle. The last two days I have tapped it with my finger, and it then jumps to the middle. Never has it moved GRADUALLY to the middle. By the way, the car is brand new (two months).

Default YES..YES... ME had same stuff..

I can't believe you have that problem as well.

anyhow on mine, it happened during winter, I think the gauge got stuck and just sprung back when car warmed up, or when the force on the spring became too strong..

just check that after you cool the car down, if it does the same thing. if it does, then you know its just one of those things... if it doesn't, then maybe your cluster is faulty.

i had my cluster replaced 3 times, 1st one showed that sign, the other 2 didn't. (1st one replaced due to faulty fuel gauge).
