Yes! Dead pedal only.
The regular pedals are made of a cheap metal that I don't think can be polished, but I might be wrong.
They shouldn't slip either even if they were polished because they too have rubber bumps. Who knows? I could be so wrong on this!

If you put a cleaner/polish on any item it always winds up somewhere else. If i put it on the dead pedal, it could get to the clutch pedal easily.
I guess I am looking to see if anyone has used a product that does not have this effect...maybe its the holy grail
