Default ...that's very interesting......update on CDA

BMC air filters are used in the Audi Sport R8 since 1999, but more interesting is.......the V8 Bi-Turbo engine in the R8 is using the CDA induction system as offered on our website (of course the box is "customized" for the R8!).

also, i got confirmation from italy: the new cda Box for the TT is a plug and play thing includig new snorkel, servicable cotton air filter, hoses, clamps etc. etc. etc. it will replace your stock airbox and will fit right away! The kits we have in stock are without snorkel and will be shipped back to italy on there request for update!

our stock will be exchanged with the new boxes. they left italy today by airfreight and should arrive in cleveland latest by the end of the week.

as I spoke to BMC this morning, the CDA boxes are limited for distribution (just based on the fact of limited production capacity due to increase production for Porsche 993/996 CDA Boxes which will be introduced in the fall). that will change latest in october, as BMC currently is adding production lines!

we will accept and chip the kits in the order we receive them, with shipping beginning of next week. also, these filters carry a lifetime warranty as well as a 30 days satisfaction warranty (return in resalable condtion for full refund, no questions asked!).

please make sure you order the right kit for your TT as there is a difference between 180hp & 225 hp as far as the installatiuon kit!

as the question came up with group buy/ discount:

the product looks very aggressive...and it's very aggressive priced, too! sorry, but there is no "lifeline" left, as much as we would like.

"off topic"

i am glad to announce that we signed with AudiWorld a sponsoring contract for a Banner, starting August 1st 2001. thanks jason!

TheRaceStore

Default Some input....

What are the advantages of doing the CDA over a straight BMC panel which I already have? Also, you could make a load of money if you start selling the Brembo or Zimmerman 312/25mm cross drilled rotors for the price of the crossdrilled Boxster 2.7/968 rotors on your website? Other distributors are doing whole kits, but if you did just the rotors; everyone who has stock calipers with aftermarket pads would line up for $89 a rotor. Good luck and good business to you.

Default rotors and pads good idea as opposed to a lot more $ for caliper kits.

adding 225 rear calipers and brackets and good rotors all around makes great sense especially for the 180s. Brakes are very powerful as is and except for possible heat issues and fading at the track not a bad set-up. For not too much we would have very reasonable upgrade for less than just new calipers in front. Especially considering even Stoptech stated they did not improve by much stopping distance.

Default the carbon box itself insulates the air filter from the heat within the engine compartment,

way better than your stock box!

Default the cold air....

contains more oxygen than warm air - and that's what you look to increase performance!

that's actually one of the reason that audi uses this box on there R8 since this year. as stated, it's something really hot and new!

the rotors...be surprised what's coming in the near future!

http://www.theracestore.com</a
