trip time maxes out?

Default trip time maxes out?
is it just me, or does the trip time counter max at 23:59h? why would they do that?

Mine maxed at 99:59; can't seem to reset it.

Default That is the way it works (according to manual). Our car now goes to 99h+ ...probably cuz we got a..
new light/lock module. Our car used to stop at 23:59, now goes past it. I thought there was a problem, but there is a notice about the new setting.

Default hmmmn, early 2000 model, OEM light/lock module and goes to 99:59...
resets with bottum button on right side stalk.

Default That's what I love about Audi - Consistency
I dunno if the car is programmed for 24 or 99 hours, or the module come coded that way. Doesn't bother me either way. I do like the auto re-lock of the doors at 5mph (instead of the 15 mph) if they become unlocked (started working this way after module was replaced)

Default It doesn't reset?? even when you press the reset button?
I think it is the button on the bottom of the stalk on the right side of the column

Our car never reached the end of the 99:59 yet.

Default Close call: .....mine maxes at 23:59 and when I recently tried to.....
reset it, I pushed the button and the entire display went black!!! Scared the hell outta me. After wiggling the reset switch, it came back. Phew! I wonder if some of the display problems folks have been having are related to a discontinuity in this switch??
