The heated seats have 6 settings. How high have you cranked yours up?

The highest I've ever gone was 4. That was a late December night in Vermont. 4 was also about the temperature outside (Fahrenheit). My friend and I lasted only a few minutes and then we had to turn them down a notch...

Anyone have the burn marks to prove they made it to 6?

i usually turn it all the way up to 6 so it heats up fast until it's toasty, then promptly go back to 3, which is IMHO the comfortable setting. I keep the passenger seat at 6 though and stir-fry on it on long trips.

I start on 4 or 5 and reach OAWE (Optimal *** Warmth Equilibrium) at 3

Yeah those seats get hot. I can only take up to 3. You could fry an egg on the hottest setting.

6 for 5 minutes and turn off. I just hate the frozen leather on butt feeling in the morning :P

I'd turn it down to 4-5 when the car warmed up. My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts!!
