Default Upgrading the brakes....Advice...

Im trying to decide between the ECS Porsche Stage III, their Stage II, or the Alcon/Stasis kit (which is a lot more expensive).

I like the Alcons kit but for 2600 bucks, Im not sure I want to spend that kind of money when I can get the big reds for anywhere between 1500-1800 bucks and still have money left for the ECS 12.1" rear kit...

Any other advice on kits Im not mentioning would be great...thanx

Default Make sure you can fit the big reds under your wheel...otherwise,

you'll need to order some spacers.

I have the ECS Porsche 993TT brakes up front and the ECS larger rotors in the rear. works great...no bias issues or lockups. some say there's bias issues, i personally haven't experienced any as of yet.

Default I know i'm bias'd, but i think that's what you want............STASIS

what i really like, is they build kits only for Audi and now VW. the difference is quality between your other choices is pedal feel. the precision of the piston seals gives them the ability to get incredibly accurate pedal modulation. i REALLY, REALLY recommend a call to them to pick their brains. they don't bash on the others, but tell you the 'whys' behind your questions. i respect that. the rotors also have incredible technology stuffed in them. the way they cool, the way they keep them full floating, the ways they keep them light. 888-978-2747, ask for Ryan. it's free info.
