Default Where is the Lateral Sensor?

The threads I've found are unclear. Under the dash in the glovebox area or on the driver's side?

Default Most likely under dash, to the right of the steering column.

It's also known as the transverse acceleration sensor.

Default and is the expensive one too...G251 is on the right side>>>

accessible via the side panel of the dash on the passenger side of the car. That is the cheaper one.....

Early cars without traction control usually only have the g251 sensor and lack the g200 sensor...

Default Codes are not trustworthy :-(

Unfortunately sometimes you will get a lateral code and have a bad longitudinal sensor and vice versa. At least that is what my dealer tech said and I believe I read it on here also. Regardless, when I had problems I got both 01749 and 01423 codes. Dealer changed longitudinal first. Problem came back and had to change lateral. Spent $1000 before it was over. Hope you fare better.
