Default Checking VAG codes P0118 P1131

Started getting intermittent engine warning light. Bought VAG. Got these codes:

16502 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Signal too High
P0118 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17539 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B2 S1: Internal Resistance too High
P1131 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0000

Read in forum to reset codes and check later to see if they come back.

Been running on cheap fuel. Will that degrade O2 sensor life expectancy? Car is stock.

Good approach?

The ect fault is a bad ect sensor. More than likely it is an outdated part # ect and needs replaced. We see them go bad all the time.

The O2 Sensor fault is probably a bad O2 sensor. When the sensor gets hot the ceramic in them cracks and creates an open circuit, once it cools it contracts and they work ok until they get heated up again.
