Default VAG COM gurus... Can you tell me exactly what this means?

Hooked up the VAG tool for the 1st time last night and got this in the engine error page.

16502 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Signal too High
35-10 - - - Intermittent

Anything I should worry about?

TIA

Default The Bentley manual describes a coolant sensor test procedure for that code.

If it fails the test, a new coolant temperature sensor is prescribed and that's it.

Default Is your temp gauge erratic at all? Mine threw that code along with the gauge getting

very erratic. Would drop to left then go back up and down etc. Coolant Temp Sensor problems are quite common.

Default I haven't noticed anything weird with any of the guages.

I think that maybe having the key in the car and turned to the on position w/o starting the car may have triggered it.

The AC came on and I shut it off, etc...before I hooked up the VAG.
