and also, is this an upgradable item, or do I just need to replace it with a stock one if my other has deteriorated.

Thanks!

Default from the turbo to the pressure pipe?

It set me back $196.47 from the dealer in August. I'm sure SFS could make a replacement and I'd be interested in one if they do. I needed a replacement ASAP tho as you can see from the pic so I didn't look into a silicone replacement.

Default Forge now do an upgraded replacement hose...

A few people in the UK have experienced premature failure of this hose, so we asked Forge to produce a replacement hose.

It's made from high temperature resistant flourosilicone compound and nomex reinforced to withstand high pressures. The other benefit is that it's cheaper than the Audi part.

http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/content.asp?inc=product&cat=0108&product=F M225TH</a

Default That's the one- Thanks, John.

The Forge piece looks like a good investment. I may contact SFS today, since I have a full kit from them, and see what they say about making one to match.

You may find that it is actually SFS making it for Forge?

Default Forge uses Siliconhoses not SFS - two different companies...

at least that was the info I got from Forge previously.
