Default What suspension setup do people recommend?

I own an 01 1.8t 180 FWD Coupe, and after I put on my new 19" wheels, I want to do suspension. I will be autocrossing the car once a month. What would you guys recommend I do, and how much might it cost me? Thanks in advance

Default for autocross i'd say Neuspeed Race springs, Konis, and 28mm rear bar on a FWD

start from there and fine tune with bushings, maybe a bigger front bar, etc.

Default I enjoyed my Koni/Eibach setup...

but I really love my PSS9 coilovers. depends on what you want to spend. I do auto-x and DEs and my car is my only one, so I drive it daily.

Hey OldSchool, would a 22-25mm rear be good for daily driving?

Default I love the hotchkis springs. They are stiffer than the other brands but dont lower the car as much

as the H&Rs.

The great thing about them, is that they are actually more comfortable on irregular roads. less bouncing.

I havent autocrossed them yet, but after swapping back and forth between my H7Rs and Hotchkis' i approve of them.

Neuspeed sways, are a great addition - the car should have come that way from the factory.
Uprated shocks are a must Eibach or Konis.

I am saving my pennies for a stg 3 Statis suspension

Default For the FWD IIRC there's only two choices. If you're not sure, get the smaller one

I think it's 25mm.

Default I'm happier than I thought I'd be with my 3.2's stock suspension...

It's not the top choice for autocrossing or racing, but it's an excellent compromise for everyday driving.

I had anticipated getting rid of the stock 3.2 suspension prior to delivery and had pulled the coilovers off of my 2001 TTR in anticipation of this. However, once I drove on the stock setup for awhile, I liked it a lot. More stiff and sporty than the 225 OEM suspension, but not punishing.

KW coilovers, $1200-$2000 depending on what level you get.
